Open Access, Copyright, and Licensing Policy

OAIJMR provides immediate open access to every published article. Readers may access the version of record without subscription, registration, payment, or embargo.

Copyright ownership

Authors retain copyright and grant OAIJMR the non-exclusive right of first publication and the right to identify itself as the original publisher.

Default article license

Unless otherwise stated on an individual article, articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

  • Attribution: credit the authors, article, journal, DOI, and license and indicate changes.
  • NonCommercial: reuse and adaptation are permitted for non-commercial purposes.
  • ShareAlike: adaptations must use the same license.

Self-Archiving and Third-Party Material

Authors may immediately deposit the published version in non-commercial institutional or subject repositories when the original article and DOI are cited and the license is retained. Third-party content may require separate permission when it is not covered by the article license or a legal exception.

Journal Website Copyright

Copyright in the OAIJMR website, logo, visual identity, database arrangement, and publisher-owned layout is separate from copyright in individual articles. A website copyright notice does not transfer or restrict author copyright.
