Author Guidelines

SUBMISSION THROUGH OJS ONLY

Manuscripts must be submitted through the OAIJMR online submission system. Submission by email is not accepted. The journal email and WhatsApp contact are provided only for technical or editorial assistance.

SCOPE AND ARTICLE TYPES

OAIJMR considers original research articles, case reports, narrative reviews, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses in medicine, health sciences, biomedical sciences, and evidence synthesis. Manuscripts must be original, written in English, not published previously, and not under consideration elsewhere.

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

Upload an anonymized manuscript file for double-anonymous review. Provide the title, abstract of no more than 250 words, three to five keywords, main text appropriate to the article type, declarations, references in Vancouver style, and clearly numbered tables and figures. All authors, affiliations, ORCID identifiers where available, and the corresponding author’s contact details must be entered accurately in OJS metadata.

REPORTING AND RESEARCH INTEGRITY

Original studies must describe methods, ethics approval where applicable, results, and conclusions transparently. Case reports must include written informed consent for publication, remove unnecessary identifying information, and follow the CARE guideline. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses should follow PRISMA and state protocol registration when applicable. Authors must disclose authorship contributions, conflicts of interest, funding, data availability, use of artificial intelligence tools, and any preprint or related manuscript. Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

EDITORIAL PROCESS AND FEES

Submissions that pass editorial screening undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least three independent reviewers. No manuscript is accepted without independent peer review. The article processing charge is IDR 2,500,000 for Indonesian authors or USD 200 for international authors and is payable only after acceptance. There are no submission or peer-review fees.
