Data Availability and Reproducibility

OAIJMR promotes transparent reporting and responsible access to research materials while protecting participant privacy, legal duties, intellectual property, and legitimate confidentiality.

Data Availability Statement

Every research article should state where supporting data, code, protocols, and materials can be accessed or explain why access is restricted. Statements should identify a repository and persistent link when available, or describe a controlled-access process and responsible contact.

Depositing and Citing Data

Authors are encouraged to use trusted disciplinary, institutional, or general repositories, provide documentation and reusable formats, and cite datasets as research outputs. Sensitive data must be de-identified and shared only under ethics approval, consent, law, and institutional requirements.

Verification

Editors or reviewers may request underlying data or analytic materials when necessary to evaluate reliability. Authors should retain records in accordance with institutional and funder requirements. Unavailable or inconsistent data may delay review or trigger post-publication investigation.
