Complaints and Appeals
Complaints and Appeals
OAIJMR welcomes good-faith complaints concerning editorial procedure, ethics, authorship, peer review, discrimination, conflicts of interest, publication conduct, or published content.
How to Submit
Send a clear description, manuscript or article identifier, relevant dates, supporting evidence, and the requested remedy to indonesian.medical.reviews@gmail.com. Complaints should be factual and respectful.
Handling Process
- Receipt is acknowledged and the matter is screened for scope and conflicts.
- A non-conflicted editor or publisher representative gathers relevant records and may request responses.
- The complaint is evaluated fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with COPE guidance.
- A reasoned outcome is communicated, subject to privacy and legal limits.
Editorial Appeals
An appeal must identify a material scientific, ethical, or procedural error in the decision; disagreement alone is insufficient. When practicable, an editor not solely responsible for the original decision assesses the appeal. The outcome of the appeal is final within the journal, without limiting institutional or legal rights.
