Publisher and Editorial Governance

Open Access Indonesian Journal of Medical Reviews (OAIJMR) is published by HM Publisher in collaboration with CMHC Research Center, Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

Editors control manuscript evaluation and editorial decisions according to scientific and ethical criteria.
Publisher and collaborating institution provide infrastructure, continuity, production, preservation support, and administrative services without directing individual editorial outcomes.
Reviewers provide confidential, independent, and evidence-based recommendations.
Authors remain accountable for originality, ethics, accuracy, declarations, and responding to post-publication concerns.

Editorial independence

Commercial revenue, APC payment, institutional relationships, advertising, sponsorship, and personal interests do not determine acceptance. APCs are considered only after an editorial acceptance decision.

Conflicts and Recusal

Editors and editorial-board members must disclose relevant conflicts and recuse themselves when independence could reasonably be questioned. A non-conflicted editor is assigned. Submissions by editors or people connected to the journal follow the same review standards and are handled independently.
