INITIAL SUBMISSION BY EMAIL

Send the complete submission package to editors.amcr@gmail.com. AMCR accepts Original Articles, Case Reports/Case Studies, and Systematic Reviews/Meta-analyses. EDITORIAL ASSESSMENT AND OJS TRACKING

Within approximately 1–3 days, the editorial office evaluates Aims and Scope fit, originality, completeness, ethics, and similarity. Manuscripts that pass this assessment are registered in OJS. The corresponding author receives an OJS account and submission details to monitor the subsequent workflow.

PEER REVIEW AND PRODUCTION

Eligible manuscripts undergo double-anonymous assessment by three independent reviewers, normally within 2–4 weeks. Editorial decisions may be accept, minor revision, major revision, or decline. Revisions are normally requested within 1–2 weeks and may undergo reassessment. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, author approval, galley proof, and production. The indicative acceptance rate is approximately 47% and does not guarantee an individual outcome.

ETHICS, COPYRIGHT, AND POLICIES

Authors must provide complete authorship, funding, conflict-of-interest, data-availability, ethics, consent, and AI-use declarations. Case reports require appropriate written consent for publication. Authors retain copyright and articles are published under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Consult the journal policy pages for current terms.

Submission Preparation Checklist

The work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by another journal.

The initial submission package has been sent by email to editors.amcr@gmail.com.

The correct official AMCR template has been used for the article type.

A separate title page contains complete author names, affiliations, countries, corresponding-author contact, and ORCID identifiers where available.

The review manuscript is anonymized and includes a structured abstract, 3–5 keywords, required declarations, and Vancouver references.

Appropriate ethics approval, informed consent, data availability, funding, competing-interest, authorship, and AI-use statements are included.

Case reports follow CARE, protect patient identity, and include written informed consent for publication.

Systematic reviews follow PRISMA 2020 and report protocol registration, searches, screening, risk of bias, certainty assessment, and synthesis methods.

All tables, figures, supplementary files, permissions, and reporting checklists are complete.

The authors understand that OJS access is provided after successful editorial assessment and that acceptance is not guaranteed.

Archives of The Medicine and Case Reports (AMCR), published by HM Publisher in collaboration with CMHC Research Center, uses personal information only for legitimate journal publishing, editorial, integrity, communication, and technical-administration purposes.

Information Collected

The OJS platform may collect names, affiliations, countries, email addresses, telephone numbers supplied by users, ORCID identifiers, account credentials, manuscript and review records, correspondence, declarations, and technical information such as IP address, browser, timestamps, cookies, and usage logs.

Purpose of Processing

Information is used to manage accounts, submissions, peer review, editing, publication, DOI and metadata registration, indexing, research-integrity checks, support requests, security, audit trails, and legal or ethical obligations. Names and affiliations of authors and editorial-board members are published as part of the scholarly record. Reviewer identities remain confidential under the double-anonymous process unless disclosure is required by law or expressly agreed.

Access and Disclosure

Access is limited to authorized editors, reviewers, production staff, technical administrators, and service providers who require the information for journal operations. Metadata intended for the scholarly record may be supplied to Crossref, indexing and preservation services, libraries, repositories, and search engines. Personal information is not sold or used for unrelated marketing.

Retention and Security

AMCR retains records for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain the scholarly record, document editorial decisions, investigate integrity concerns, meet legal or contractual requirements, and operate secure backups. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used; however, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Patient and Research Data

Authors must not upload unnecessary directly identifying patient information. Consent forms should be retained securely by authors and supplied to the journal only when specifically requested through an appropriate confidential channel. Published case material must comply with the journal's consent and anonymization policy.

User Choices and Requests

Registered users may update profile information in OJS. Requests to access, correct, or restrict personal information may be sent to the journal. Some information cannot be removed when it forms part of the permanent scholarly record, is required to preserve editorial integrity, or must be retained by law.
