AMCR advances clinically useful, ethically sound, and methodologically credible knowledge in medicine and related health sciences.

Aim

Archives of The Medicine and Case Reports (AMCR) provides an open-access forum for original clinical and biomedical scholarship, evidence synthesis, and well-documented case observations that improve understanding, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, patient safety, education, or health-service practice.

Scope

The journal welcomes work across medical specialties and interdisciplinary health sciences, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, psychiatry, radiology, pathology, laboratory medicine, public health, primary care, rehabilitation, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health when the manuscript has clear medical or clinical relevance.

Article Types

  • Original research articles
  • Systematic reviews and other rigorous evidence syntheses
  • Case reports and case series with clear educational or scientific value
  • Other scholarly article types approved by the editorial team and consistent with the journal scope

Case-Report Priorities

Case reports should offer a meaningful diagnostic, therapeutic, safety, mechanistic, or educational insight rather than rarity alone. They must follow CARE, provide a clear clinical timeline, protect patient privacy, and include written informed consent for publication.

Publication Model

AMCR is published quarterly by HM Publisher in collaboration with CMHC Research Center. All articles that pass editorial screening undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least three independent reviewers and are published open access under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
