Licensing Terms

AMCR publishes articles under a clear, standard open-access license.

Default Article License

Unless otherwise stated on an individual article, all AMCR articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

Permitted Uses

Users may copy, redistribute, and adapt the article in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes. Users must provide appropriate credit to the authors and AMCR, link to the license, indicate whether changes were made, and distribute adaptations under the same license. No additional legal or technological restriction may be applied that prevents uses permitted by the license.

Author Rights

Authors retain copyright and grant AMCR the right of first publication. Authors may deposit and share the published version of record, provided that the original publication and DOI are cited and the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license is preserved.

Third-Party Material

Material credited to a third party may be subject to separate rights or permissions. Users are responsible for obtaining permission when the intended use is not covered by the article license or an applicable legal exception.

Website and Branding

Copyright in the journal website, logo, layout, and other publisher-owned materials is separate from copyright in individual articles and does not limit the rights granted in article content.
