Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Arkus accepts original research articles, case reports, narrative reviews, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses within its multidisciplinary scope. Manuscripts must be original, not under consideration elsewhere, and prepared in clear academic English.

HOW TO SUBMIT
All manuscripts must be submitted through the Arkus OJS online submission system. Submissions sent by email are not accepted. Technical assistance: editor.arkus@gmail.com or +62 819-4958-1088.

FILES AND METADATA
Upload an editable anonymized manuscript. Remove author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and identifying file properties. Enter complete metadata for every author, including name, email, affiliation, country, and ORCID when available. Upload figures, tables, reporting checklists, ethics or consent documentation, data, and supplementary files where applicable.

MANUSCRIPT AND REPORTING
Use a clear structure appropriate to the article type. Original research should normally include Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Declarations, and References. Follow applicable reporting standards such as CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA, CARE, COREQ, or ARRIVE.

REQUIRED DECLARATIONS
Disclose author contributions, conflicts of interest, funding, ethics approval, informed consent, consent for publication, data availability, acknowledgements, and any use of artificial-intelligence tools. AI tools cannot be authors.

REVIEW, LICENSE, AND FEES
Eligible submissions undergo double-anonymous review by a minimum of three independent reviewers. Authors retain copyright and articles use CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. The APC payable only after acceptance is IDR 1,000,000 for Indonesian authors or USD 100 for international authors. No submission, editorial, colour, page, or other publication fees apply. Waivers and discounts are not available.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet these requirements:
• The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
• The review file is anonymized and contains no identifying information.
• The manuscript file is editable; figures, tables, references, URLs, and supplementary files are complete.
• All author metadata are entered accurately in OJS.
• The manuscript follows the Author Guidelines and applicable reporting standard.
• Ethics, consent, conflicts, funding, contributions, data availability, and AI use are declared as applicable.
• All authors agree to double-anonymous review, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, the disclosed APC after acceptance, and the absence of waivers or discounts.
