Arkus follows recognized principles of publication ethics and expects integrity from authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher.

Authors

• Submit original work and cite sources accurately. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, salami publication, and inappropriate image or data manipulation are prohibited.
• List as authors only those who made substantial contributions, approved the final version, and accept accountability. Other contributions must be acknowledged.
• Disclose conflicts of interest, funding, ethics approval, informed consent, consent for publication, data availability, author contributions, and AI-tool use as applicable.
• Notify the journal promptly of material errors and cooperate with correction or retraction.

Reviewers

Reviewers must be independent, confidential, timely, respectful, and qualified. They must disclose conflicts, decline when impartial review is not possible, and never use unpublished material for personal advantage.

Editors

Editors protect confidentiality, manage conflicts, select qualified independent reviewers, evaluate submissions fairly, and base decisions on scholarly merit. An editor with a conflict must recuse. Appeals and allegations are handled independently of the original decision maker when practicable.

Human and animal research

Research involving humans must state approval by an appropriate ethics committee and informed consent when required. Identifiable information requires consent for publication. Animal research must comply with applicable institutional and national standards and include approval details.

Misconduct and concerns

Credible concerns may be sent to editor.arkus@gmail.com. The journal preserves confidentiality, seeks evidence and responses, and may issue an expression of concern, correction, retraction, or other notice. Records are retained and due process is observed.

Editorial independence and commercial separation

HM Publisher in collaboration with CMHC Research Center provides publishing infrastructure but does not determine editorial outcomes. Fees, advertising, sponsorship, or institutional relationships do not influence review or acceptance.
