Complaints and Appeals
How to submit
Send a concise, evidence-based request to journalanesthesiology@gmail.com. Identify the manuscript or article, the decision or conduct at issue, the material error alleged, and the remedy requested.
Editorial appeals
Appeals must address a substantive error in the review or decision rather than disagreement alone. The journal acknowledges the appeal, checks for new evidence or procedural error, and arranges assessment by an editor not materially involved in the original decision when feasible. The resulting decision is final within the journal.
Complaints about conduct or policy
The publisher or a suitably independent senior editor investigates concerns about delay, confidentiality, conflicts, discrimination, peer review, or journal conduct. Parties may be invited to respond. Where internal resolution is insufficient, the journal may seek external advice or cooperate with an institution or relevant body.
