Copyright and Author Rights

Authors retain copyright. By publishing in JACR, authors grant the journal the non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to identify itself as the original publisher.

Article license

Unless otherwise stated on an individual article, published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Reusers must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, indicate changes, limit reuse to non-commercial purposes, and distribute adaptations under the same license.

Author rights

Authors may share, deposit, and reuse their submitted, accepted, and published versions for lawful non-commercial scholarly purposes with appropriate citation of the version of record and respect for third-party rights. No transfer of copyright to the journal is required.

Website copyright

Copyright notices in the site footer apply only to the JACR name, logo, website design, layout, and publisher-owned content. They do not transfer or restrict article copyright beyond the license displayed on each article.
